A little personalization can go a long way in making your RV even more cozy. Consider these strategies for decorating your RV!
Adjust the Furniture
Your RV furniture might be less cushy than you would like. If you don’t want to replace the furniture outright, you can lounge more comfortably with the help of some throw blankets and pillows. Decorating with fabrics is also a great way to create a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere. Consider investing in some curtains, area rugs, and tablecloths.
Adjust the Lighting
How about softer lighting? String lights and battery-powered candles make for an especially cozy nighttime ambience. Some battery-powered candles can even be remote controlled for optimal convenience.
Put Up Photographs and Art
Mounting some personal photographs or favorite art pieces in your RV will help to personalize it and remind you of home, even when you’re far away.
- Put up strings with clothespins knotted at evenly-spaced intervals and clip your favorite travel photos or candid photos of friends and family to them; this lets you easily change up which photos you show.
- Buy an inexpensive plastic poster frame to hold a movie poster, a photo of a beloved travel location or photo of your favorite band if you so desire.
- Use magnets to stick Polaroids on your fridge.
- Bring in framed photos from your house that you don’t have space for (maybe swap out any glass for clear plastic, though, for safety).
